Intro to the Consulting Mastery Newsletter
Your journey to becoming a consultant has officially begun...
Welcome to you, aspiring consultant!
You have made the right decision by subscribing to the Consulting Mastery newsletter I want to introduce myself and tell you what this newsletter will be all about.
Who is Anon Consultant?
First, I want to tell you a little bit about myself.
I’m a consultant at McKinsey & Co., and worked in Private Equity before joining the Firm.
Consulting has been a great career path for me so far, and McKinsey has been an amazing organization to work in.
Now I know you may be wondering: why is he anonymous? 🤔
Fair question, and here’s my answer:
McKinsey wouldn’t want me to share some of the stuff I share with you
I don’t like to get public attention
If you’re a skeptic and don’t believe me, you can comment below and I’ll show you proofs. 👀
What’s in the Consulting Mastery Newsletter?
The Consulting Mastery newsletter is my way to express myself, help others break into consulting, and share my thoughts about the industry and my work.
I want to focus on 3 main things in this newsletter:
Interview preparation
Exploring the consulting lifestyle
Develop your consulting skills
Interview Prep
If you’re a student looking to get into consulting, or a professional that wants to transition into the industry, I am here to help.
I was in your shoes and know exactly how you feel.
Stress, uncertainty, not knowing where to start or what to do.
Prepping is something that will be covered in this newsletter.
Consulting lifestyle
Since I’m a consultant and many people are curious to know more about what it’s like to be a consultant (I know I was curious back then), I will open up to show you what the lifestyle is ACTUALLY like.
No BS, no filters, you will get the real view of what it’s like.
Consulting skills
Consulting is half science half art.
You can read all the books you want, but you may still be a bad consultant, and the opposite is true as well.
I want to help you hone your business acumen, sharpen your skills, and make you understand what it means to be a good consutlant.
This section will be more about insights, business theories, and based on my experience as a consultant.
Premium vs. regular account
All of my paid subscribers will receive more information, longer form content whenever I have unique insights to share, secret documents, and valuable things like resume templates, consulting books, etc.
Helping others break into Consulting
When I was prepping to get into McKinsey, I remember having the support of many people.
I know others don’t have the same support, and some just want to learn from someone else who’ve done it and need only little help.
Whether you need full assistance, or just guidance, I want to be a trusted resource for you and see you win by getting the offer you want.
EVERYONE who reads this and gets an offer, I want to receive an email from you saying that YOU GOT AN OFFER!
This will genuinely make happy, as I wish all of you the best and hope you make it.
